Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk Agreement

Horseback riding, horse handling, grooming, feeding, leading, trail riding, lessons, camps, and other equine activities involve inherent risks that cannot be completely eliminated. Horses are large, powerful animals that may react unpredictably to people, other animals, weather, terrain, or unexpected situations.

Horse activities involve inherent risks that may result in injury, illness, property damage, or death. Risks include, but are not limited to:

• unpredictable horse behavior,

• falls,

• collisions,

• uneven terrain,

• weather conditions,

• and the actions of riders or participants.

 

I understand and voluntarily accept these risks for myself and/or my child.

 

I certify that I and/or my child are physically able to participate in horseback riding and related activities. I agree to follow all safety instructions given by Rockin K Kowboy staff.

 

I understand that horseback riding is a physically active outdoor activity and that accidents can happen even when reasonable care is used.

 

In consideration for participation in Rockin K Kowboy activities, I release and hold harmless Rockin K Kowboy, its owners, staff, volunteers, and property owners from claims, liability, injury, or damages arising from participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

BB Gun Shooting Activity Acknowledgment

I understand that BB gun and air rifle activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to eye injuries, skin injuries, ricochets, property damage, and injuries resulting from improper handling of equipment.

I agree that I (or my child) will follow all safety instructions provided by Rockin' K Kowboy staff, including the use of required safety equipment and supervision rules.

I acknowledge that participation in BB gun shooting activities is voluntary and that I assume the risks associated with such activities.

 

NOTICE TO PARTICIPANTS:
Under Washington law (RCW 4.24.540), an equine activity sponsor or equine professional is not liable for injury to or death of a participant resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities.

 

I have carefully read and understand this agreement and voluntarily agree to its terms.
